This scene should’ve been in Transformers 3! 1 of my favorite scenes in Transformers Dark of the Moon would absolutely have to be Optimus Prime’s insane killstreak on the Decepticons and Shockwave. And obviously it makes a lot of sense to showcase the Autobot Leader in such an awesome scene like this. He’s arguably the most powerful character in that universe and possesses the Matrix of Leadership. But I think we can all agree that we could’ve seen all of the Autobots sharing a sick scene such as that 1. And apparently that’s what we almost got. Whilst in the movie Optimus orders the Autobots to retreat immediately, the novel has them fighting waves of Decepticons for some time before being overwhelmed by sheer numbers. That would’ve been an awesome action sequence that showcased how well the Autobots work in complete unison? Pure badassery bruh.
